Been wondering what our new habitat will look like? It will have wheelchair-accessible pathways, an open area to allow an entire class to easily walk through and observe the habitat, and a sensory garden to invite students to touch and smell some interesting plants! All plants are being chosen for their drought-hardiness, deer resistance, and wildlife or sensory value, and almost all of them are native to central Texas.
